Della got some blocks and, from Nanny June, some clothes to grow into.
It was not nearly as cold outside as I thought it would be.
Della put on her sweat suit and we drank the last of the spring beer. Later we listened to Arlo Guthrie and Della played with a thing that spins and another thing that’s soft.
This was Steve’s bib, when he was young.
I took the day off to play with Della. Because I miss her.
Just a few everyday hanging out pictures here:
Rita the Riddler, Della’s talented day care provider, said today as we were leaving, “Oh Della, we will know your true value when the next one comes along.”
We went here today.
Behold all these natural wonders, they are saying.
Look, it’s a baby koala bear that we saw.
Below: “Send that joke to kindergarten,” she told him. “It’s at least five years old.”
And later we saw a truck that had pictures of itself on its bumper.
Here is a picture of Della.
Della gets a mention on a blog other than this one. Click here to read it.
